Life comes at us so fast that it can feel like it’s coming for us! It can be overwhelming and may leave us feeling guilty and defeated. If we are not careful, our inside gets just as exhausted as our outside. So ask yourself a question, “How long has it been since I took the time to check in with my soul to see how it is doing?”
What if in a single day away from all the hustle and hassle, you could learn how to lighten your soul? One day to begin to recover your life. No magic, just God’s promise. Jesus tells us that if we will come to him, he will take the weight and worry from us and replace it with a life that is restful, refreshing, unforced, and well-fitted to us. If we are willing to take a walk on a well-worn path not frequented these days, we will find rest for our souls.
