The difficulty with Proverbs is that all that smartness is not collected and presented thematically. You have to read all 31 chapters to find all the recorded wisdom on any one subject. A short study on recognizing when God is, and is not, leading us. The point of knowing is so we can live in the center of his will and grow our relationship with him. Chapter 1 begins by explaining that the main point is not knowing and doing God’s will, but knowing God so that we know and want to do his will.
